You’ll also hear me talk about several tv shows I’m currently digging, and the movie Let Me In which I saw last weekend. We also welcome back wrestling columnist Martyn Nolan to discuss last weekend’s Royal Rumble, and the following day’s Raw. We discuss various theories regarding the Hall of Fame, The Elimination Chamber, Wrestlemania, and the 2-21-2011 video.

Countdown to the 2011 Royal Rumble

As I mention in the podcast I’ve always enjoyed watching Wrestling. I got to see the Monday Night Wars, the original ECW, the Horsemen Saturday Nights on TBS, the old AWA, UWF with Steve Williams, World Class with the Von Erichs, the Dingo Warrior and a few others, even the GWF with Booker T before he and Sugar Ray where Harlem Heat, and Sean Waltman as The Lightning Kid. I was even lucky enough to be at MSG when the Alliance Invasion, when Booker T was chased through the crowd.
In any event, one of the reasons for me starting up this podcast is to be able to talk wrestling from time to time. On this show we have Martyn Nolan columnist for Wrestleslam Magazine, and Wrestlezone.com. During this episode we talk about the upcoming Royal Rumble, and all things WWE and TNA.
There were some technical issues, so you’ll notice a slight change in my voice (I had to listen back to what I originally recorded this weekend, and redo my commentary). That said, I had a blast, and think that we talk about a lot of interesting wrestling related points that I’m sure you guys will enjoy as well. This will hopefully be the first installment of a monthly wrestling episode I will do with Martyn.
