Ok so to continue the themes that we started on Mars Attacks Radio episode 76 and Fusion Sonica Radio episode 19, we bring you episode 11 of the Incoherent Ramblings of Victor M. Ruiz. Essentially we’re taking all of the music that was submitted that isn’t hard rock or metal. Most of it is from Spain, with one specific exception. In any event, this episode contains rap, indie rock, pop-punk, instrumental music, etc. You’ll hear artists like Storms To Come, Sierra Nevada, Alacrander, Idolos De Extraradio, The Pulsebeats, Rapport, Wet Knickers, Nothink, Pendejo, She Lies, Cuming Soon, Traveling Circus and Peyote Funeral.

Podcast Number 5 – Countdown to the Elimination Chamber

For this episode we bring you a mixed bag of topics. I discuss the Elimination Chamber at length with Wrestlezone and Wrestleslam columnist Martyn Nolan. We discuss everything from this PPV, to how things will pan out moving forward towards Wrestlemania. We discuss the 2-21-11 video, the Raw GM, some guy named the Rock, and how his addition to WM may actually force Cena to turn heel. We also mention some matches that could be plausible if both of those stars were to meet up at WM. Highly unlikely, but I personally got a kick out of discussing so many different things. We discuss who the most likely to get injured before the Elimination Chamber might be, paving the way for HHH to be inserted in the match, again, all hypothetical. We also discuss R-Truth at length….and not in a positive light.
During the TV segment we discuss my issues with Bones, The Pacific, Band Of Brothers, the legacy of Battle Star Galactica, their actors, and how the series has affected TV in general.
Aside from this we have music from The Prodigy, The Birthday Massacre, Frontline and Foo Fighters.

You’ll also hear me talk about several tv shows I’m currently digging, and the movie Let Me In which I saw last weekend. We also welcome back wrestling columnist Martyn Nolan to discuss last weekend’s Royal Rumble, and the following day’s Raw. We discuss various theories regarding the Hall of Fame, The Elimination Chamber, Wrestlemania, and the 2-21-2011 video.

Countdown to the 2011 Royal Rumble

As I mention in the podcast I’ve always enjoyed watching Wrestling. I got to see the Monday Night Wars, the original ECW, the Horsemen Saturday Nights on TBS, the old AWA, UWF with Steve Williams, World Class with the Von Erichs, the Dingo Warrior and a few others, even the GWF with Booker T before he and Sugar Ray where Harlem Heat, and Sean Waltman as The Lightning Kid. I was even lucky enough to be at MSG when the Alliance Invasion, when Booker T was chased through the crowd.
In any event, one of the reasons for me starting up this podcast is to be able to talk wrestling from time to time. On this show we have Martyn Nolan columnist for Wrestleslam Magazine, and Wrestlezone.com. During this episode we talk about the upcoming Royal Rumble, and all things WWE and TNA.
There were some technical issues, so you’ll notice a slight change in my voice (I had to listen back to what I originally recorded this weekend, and redo my commentary). That said, I had a blast, and think that we talk about a lot of interesting wrestling related points that I’m sure you guys will enjoy as well. This will hopefully be the first installment of a monthly wrestling episode I will do with Martyn.
Throughout the episode you’ll hear music Rick Derringer, Kiss and Kinky.
